Anna Schlegel is an accomplished Manager and Administrator. Born and raised in San Francisco, her first experience working backstage was as a costume rental coordinator for her high school theater production, directed by Stephen Drewes. She went on to stage-manage various productions while earning her undergraduate degree from New York University. Anna received formal training at American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA. She worked as the Production Stage Manager and Production Manager for the Palm Springs Follies for more than 6 years. Recently she returned home to the Bay Area and has been engaged with various Arts Festivals, including the German Film Festival Berlin & Beyond. Behind the scenes is where Anna can usually be found, bringing her calm demeanor and organization to an otherwise chaotic backstage.
